Interactive Content Manager – Greater Media New Jersey
We are looking for someone who is comfortable with all forms of interactive media: website functionality, design and content, as well as digital marketing through database and social networking.
Our six radio stations need a quality design and content manager who understands CMS and cares about creating a positive online user experience using high engagement tools.
Do you have the latest technology on your desk at work and home? Do you always have the latest hand held device? Do you devour all the new online and social media developments that are transforming the world? Then this could be your job.
You do not need to be a program developer but you should have a strong proficiency with HTML, Photoshop/Illustrator, and an excellent understanding of online graphic best practices. You need an understanding of the structure and operation of content management systems. Our websites need to serve the needs of on-air audience and the advertisers.
Multi-tasking comes easy to you. But understanding how to use a project management software product will help you to manage the many customized projects we create each month for our best clients.
This position offers a groundbreaking opportunity to create a substantial local digital media presence.
Specific skills:
• Mastery of web design, functionality and usability required
• Working proficiency with Photo Shop, Illustrator, and HTNL required
• Operational understanding of Flash is helpful
• Understanding of media operations (programming, promotion and sales)
• Detail oriented absolutely required
• The ability to translate technical concepts quickly for non-technical and creative types a must.
• Experience with Pinnacle Studio software, iMovie, Final Cut are a plus.
• Strong understanding of social content sites such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and You Tube.

New Jersey’s Continuous Soft Rock WMGQ Magic 98.3 and WCTC 1450 AM are seeking a full time Promotions Assistant.
This entry-level job is ideal for those who are passionate about radio and marketing and are looking to “get a foot in the door” at one of the nation’s leading broadcast companies.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include planning and executing all WMGQ & WCTC promotional events and appearances, devising on-air and online contests for both stations, responding to listener and community inquiries, assisting with public relations and ad design, supervising seasonal interns, and proactively seeking opportunities to further the stations’ growth. Candidates will be required to lift up to 50 lbs and drive the station vans. Weekend and nighttime availability is a MUST!
Requirements:
Candidates must posses an outgoing attitude, superb customer relations skills, superior attention to detail, the ability to multitask, proficiency with MS Office, a valid license with a clean driving record and, most importantly, the drive to go above and beyond.
Proficiency in Photoshop and College Degree Preferred.

Summer 2010 Interactive Internships Available
We are currently seeking interns for Greater Media New Jersey Interactive Department.
Interns will work within the interactive department and have opportunities to assist in video, website design, and social networking for all six of Greater Media New Jersey Radio stations located throughout the state of New Jersey. You will also be exposed to all aspects of running a commercial radio station, learning from some of the best in the industry.
All majors are accepted, and credit is required. You must be available to work a minimum 15-20 hours a week.
