Rutgers will become bowl eligible tonight

The embattled Rutgers football team, which has lost five of its last sx games, will hosts USF tonight in the regular season finale and its last chance to become bowl eligible.  The Scarlet Knights have fallen to 5-6 overall; the Bulls are 2-9.  RU comes in as a six-point favorite, mainly due to the home field advantage and the fact that is Seniors' Night.  So, based on that, I'm picking Rutgers to cover the spread and beat USF 21-14.  Coverage on the new talk radio, 1450 WCTC and WCTCAM.com, the Voice of the Scarlet Knights begins at two-pm with "Football USA", the metropolitan area's most extensive college scoreboard/interview show.  Then, at five, it's Mike Pavlichko on the "Plymouth Rock Assurance Tailgate Party" live outside the North Gate of High Point Solutions Stadium in Piscataway.  At six, it's the pre-game show "Rutgers Gameday."  Then at 7:30, it's kickoff time as the Scarlet Knights become bowl eligible with a win over USF.
