Eddie Jordan and Vivian Stringer are off on the right foot...for different reasons
Posted 11/11/2013 6:03:00 PM

New Rutgers men's basketball coach Eddie Jordan and Hall of Fame Scarlet Knight women's coach Vivian Stringer have different agendas in the 2013-2014 season now underway.  Yes, both want to win as many games as possible but it's more than that.  Jordan, in the wake of the Mike Rice debacle, wants to fly below the radar, providing no negative off-the-court headlines for the media...just the good news of progress for his fledgling program.  Stringer, on the other hand, wants to get back on the radar after a disappointing season that saw her team not go to the post-season, continuing a slide into irrelevancy on the women's national landscape.  She wants noisy headlines about her team back on the winning track.  Well, so far so good.  Both got off on the right foot over the weekend, winning their season openers.  Good luck to both of them.  They'll need it.

Interestingly I read several articles about RUWBB's win and NO MENTION of attendance. Full house?

Remember, until 7/1/2014 we are still in the "ACK" conference.
