Alright, let me cut to the chase after the disappointing 35-23 Homecoming loss to Kent State Saturday that knocked the 18th-ranked Rutgers Scarlet Knights out of the ranks of the unbeaten.  Did you really think RU was going to go undefeated the entire season...13-0?  It was nice while it lasted but I really never thought running the table was a realistic possibility.  The real goal here is to win a Big East title for the first time and what happened in a non-conference loss to the Golden Flashes doesn't change that.  So, all Scarlet Knight fans should wipe away the tears and realize that a BCS bowl game still is in the offing, as long as RU wins the conference championship...and that IS a realistic possibility.
