Rutgers surprises with a win at Arkansas to go 4-0 for the first time since 2006

Well, for the first time this season, I'm wrong in my prediction for a Rutgers football game.  So, I fall to 3-1 and new Scarlet Knight head coach Kyle Flood becomes just the third coach in RU history to win his first four games.  In all, an excellent victory for the Knights on Saturday night, winning at Arkansas 35-26 in a game heard on the new talk radio, 1450 WCTC and WCTCAM.com, the Voice of Rutgers Football.  Yes, I know all about the fact that the 1-3 Razorbacks are in a shambles under interim head coach John L. Smith.  But that doesn't matter.  Rutgers is headed for the Top 25 when the new AP poll comes out on Sunday, thanks to sophomore quarterback Gary Nova who had the game of his life, throwing a career-high five touchdown passes and throwing for a career-high 397 yards.  Sophomore running back Jawan Jamison picked up his fifth straight 100-plus yard rushing game.  And the defense made enough plays to keep Arkansas at bay.  So what is quickly becoming a magical season for Flood and Company rolls on...and into the first bye week of the season.  Then, Rutgers comes back home most assuredly as a ranked team, hosting Big East opponent Connecticut.  High Point Solutions Stadium should rightfully be jumping for a very solid and balanced Scarlet Knight football team, the first 4-0 start at RU in six years, dating back to the great Ray Rice-led team of 2006.
