Three games, three landmark wins for Kyle Flood
Posted 9/13/2012 11:22:00 PM

It's been a memorable first three weeks for new Rutgers head football coach Kyle Flood.  He won his inaugural game on September 1st at Tulane.  Flood then won his home debut last Saturday over Howard.  Now, Flood has a victory in his maiden Big East contest, winning at USF 23-13 Thursday night in Tampa in a game heard on the new talk radio, 1450 WCTC and WCTCAM.com, the Voice of Scarlet Knights Football.  So, what does Flood do for an encore?  How 'bout a win in his first game on the national stage, a victory next Saturday night at Arkansas of the SEC. Why not?  Flood has a formidable defense that should keep him in every game.  He has a feature running back, Jawan Jamison, with the hot hand, rolling up four straight 100-plus yard games.  And he has a quarterback in Gary Nova who is coming off his best game as a collegian.  A win over the Razorbacks and Flood may be looking at a Top-25 ranking.  Yes, 2012 has the hint of a special first season for Kyle Flood on the "Banks of the Old Raritan."
