Look for new Rutgers head football coach Kyle Flood to win his Big East debut

New Rutgers Scarlet Knight head football coach Kyle Flood makes his Big East debut Thursday night when RU travels to Tampa to take on the USF Bulls in a battle of 2-0 teams in a game you can hear on the new talk radio, 1450 WCTC and WCTCAM.com, the Voice of Central Jersey Sports.  Rutgers is an eight-point underdog.  Chalk it up to home field advantage for USF...and the fact that the media covering the league picked the Bulls to finish second in the Big East this season, right behind Louisville and right above the Scarlet Knights.  But Rutgers has always done well against South Florida, going 5-2 overall including 2-1 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.  AND RU has done a good job in the past containing USF's fine senior quarterback B.J. Daniels.  This year, thus far, the Knights "D" has been superb, so I expect RU to bottle up Daniels again AND to play well again in South Florida.  So, I pick Rutgers to beat USF 21-17.
