My annual Jersey shopping list

It's that time of year again. The turkey, and the leftovers, are just about gone, and it's time to begin the Holiday shopping season. So naughty or nice, let's get right to the list for 2013.
For Governor Chris Christie: his re-election in November was the greatest gift of all. We have to include some new SMALLER suits, though, since it looks like that diet and surgery are working.
For the Jersey Shore: how about year without hurricanes or fires, and let's get some of that FEMA and insurance money moving in so homes can be lifted, beaches can be protected, and LIVES can be resumed.
For Rutgers: the end of bullying allegations, stability in both athletics and academics, a bowl for the football team and WINS for both basketball teams.
For The Meadowlands: a nice, dry day in February for the BIG football game, and something...ANYTHING...to replace that hideous Xanadu/American Dream mall.
For Bon Jovi: allowing Richie Sambora back into the band. What could Jon's right-hand man of all these years done or said that was so awful? The band is clearly not the same without him.
For Atlantic City: a problem-free continuation of Jersey's legal online gambling. I'd like to see this expanded to allow other states to play. Hey, if Jersey alone couldn't make the brick-and-mortar casinos profitable, how can we do it online? Open it up for the rest of the county, and watch the $$$ roll in.
For drivers along Route 22 in Somerset county: an end to those outdated and dangerous median u-turns. Tie has come for those suckers to go. Permanantly.
And for you, dear readers of this blog: anything your heart desires. Just keep it legal.
