Let's keep the Bowl winning streak alive

OK, so you're still upset about the loss on Thursday night to Louisville that would have given the Knights the Big East title and the school's first-ever BCS bid. I know, it's a tough pill to swallow. The siliver lining in the 2012 season, in addtion to rookie coach Kyle Flood leading this team to the edge of history, is Rutgers will once again play in a Bowl game. Not a BCS game, but a Bowl game. For the longtime followers of the program, you would have given your first born to see this team play in ANY bowl game. So let's consider ourselves fortunate that we have a program that CONSISTANTLY wins games, and is on a BOWL winning streak. Next up is the Russell Athletic Bowl on December 28th in Orlando against former Big East opponent Virginia Tech. This is a nice game to be invited to, and I'm sure there will be a lot of attention paid to it. Hey, it's not Miami, New Orleans, Pasadena, or Tempe, but it's not a bad game to be playing in. As the saying goes, "don't look a gift horse in mouth", and let's rally behind coach Flood and the guys in this year's game. Things could be a little different for this team when they move into the Big 10, so let's savor the moment, and keep the streak alive.
