The Veterans Alliance of Raritan Valley, The City of New Brunswick, and The Borough of Highland Park invites you to honor all military veterans in participating in our MEMORIAL DAY PARADE. The parade will begin in New Brunswick at 11 A.M.and continue to the Doughboy Monument in Highland Park.

Middlesex County Cancer Coalition Pancreatic Cancer Walk

The Middlesex County Office of Health Services and the Middlesex County Cancer Coalition have announced the Fourth Annual Pancreatic Cancer Walk, to be held from 9:00AM to 11:00AM (Check-in Time: 8:30AM) on Saturday, June 8th at Roosevelt Park in Edison.

ParamCARE Foundation team will provide healthy refreshments at the event. ParamCARE team will be present to support this event benefiting the health of our community. ParamCARE strives on the principle that a healthy body is one where there is physical, mental and social wellness. Therefore, an effort was made to inspire the community on being physically active, socially connected and mentally blissful.

The event is held to raise awareness on Pancreatic Cancer in the community. The proceedings collected in this event will benefit Pancreatic Cancer research at The Cancer Institute of New Jersey.

Registration is $15.00 and donations are encouraged.
Proceeds to benefit pancreatic cancer research at The Cancer Institute of New Jersey.

Somerset Patriots Father's Day Game

Join 1450 WCTC and the Somerset Patriots on Sunday June 16th for our Father's Day Celebration presented by Somerset Medical Center Foundation.

The first 1,000 Men in attendance will receive a "Greatest Dad" T-Shirt. There will also be a pre-game Father and Kids Catch down on the field beginning at 11:00 am with the first 500 participants receiving a Baseball.

The game features Prostate Cancer Awareness Day with all Patriots players and coaches wearing special jerseys that will be raffled off during the game to benefit the Steeplechase Cancer Center at Somerset Medical Center.

There's no better way to spend Father's Day with your Dad than at the ball park for a Patriots game!

Join us June 22, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a job fair for veteran job seekers, active duty military members, guard and reserve members, and military spouses at the Giants/MetLife Stadium, 1 MetLife Stadium Dr. East Rutherford, NJ.

This event will be a one-of-a-kind FREE hiring fair for both employers and job seekers.

This Verizon-sponsored hiring event, held as a part of NBC 4 New York and New York Giants Health & Fitness Expo, is being conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, NBC4 New York, NBC News, the New York Giants, the Meadowlands Regional Chamber, the U.S. Department of Labor Veterans Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the New Jersey and New York Committees of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, The American Legion, and other local partners.

Join us outside before the game as the Somerset Patriots face-off against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs!

Game Details Include:

The first 2,000 Fans in attendance will receive an Autograph Book presented by Candlewood Suites.
The Patriots and Candlewood Suites will host Give Kids The World Night.
The Somerset Patriots invite Car Show enthusiasts out to the ballpark for Car Show Night.
All fans that wish to take part in the Car Show should arrive in the Red Parking Lot at 3:00 PM. The Car Show will run from 3:00-4:00 PM.
There will also be a parade around the field for all participating cars at 4:00 PM.
All fans will be able to participate in a Pre-Game Autograph Session with all the Patriots down on the field an hour before game time presented by Somerset County Park Foundation.
After the game, all kids get to Run The Bases in The Beez Foundation Diamond Derby.
