1. St. Joseph-3 (27-5, 2);
2. East Brunswick (26-4, 1);
3. Ridge (27-2, 3);
4. Bound Brook (26-3, 4);
5. Gill St. Bernard's (19-8, 5);
6. North Brunswick (20-7, 7);
7. Woodbridge (22-5, 8);
8. Hillsborough (21-6, 6);
9. Carteret (20-8, 9);
10t. Spotswood (21-8, 10);
10t. Bridgewater-Raritan (19-9, NR).

St. Joseph of Metuchen falls to Roselle Catholic 65-49 in the Tournament of Champions final on WCTC

     St. Joseph of Metuchen has failed in its bid to become the first Middlesex or Somerset County boys' basketball team to win the Tournament of Champions, falling 65-49 to Roselle Catholic at the Sun National Bank Center in Trenton, in a game heard on WCTC. Trailing 26-16 at the half, St. Joe's came out on fire in the third quarter, closing to within one point on several occasions, but Malachi Richardson's pair of treys for Roselle Catholic kept St. Joe's from getting over the hump and taking the lead. And that was as close as the Falcons would get. Richardson finished with 5 treys and 22 points. Seven-foot junior center Karl Towns was held to just 7 points, all in the third quarter. Junior Marques Townes led the Falcons with 17 points, including 8 in the fourth quarter, including two threes. St. Joseph finishes its season 27-5.
