Karl Towns of St. Joseph-Metuchen is named a McDonald's All-American


            Kentucky-bound St. Joseph of Metuchen senior Karl Towns has been named a boys’ high school basketball McDonald’s All-American.  The seven-foot center – who hails from Piscataway – is one of 24 players nationwide who will play in the prestigious All-American game April second at the United Center in Chicago.  He’s averaging 22-and-a-half points per game this season – to go along with 14.3 rebounds and over 7 blocks per contest – for the four-time defending GMC Tournament Champion St. Joseph.
