All are welcomed to St. John’s Episcopal Church for Holy Week and Easter services and activities!
Palm Sunday, March 24: Blessing and distribution of the palms at both the 8 am and 10:15 am Holy Eucharists. Music at 10:15 am.
Monday, March 25: 7 pm Holy Eucharist
Tuesday, March 26: 7 pm Holy Eucharist
Wednesday, March 27: 7 pm Holy Eucharist
Holy Thursday, March 28: 10 am Eucharist; 6 pm supper in the parish hall; 7:30 pm Holy Eucharist with feet washing and stripping of the altar. In addition, the youth of the parish will conduct a 30 Hour Famine, an effort to recognize and take action about hunger in this country. The youth will also sponsor a Prayer Vigil from 8:30 pm to 7 am. All youth are invited to participate in this ancient tradition by signing up for a one-hour period; contact 908-722-1250
Good Friday, March 29: 7 am Liturgy of the Day; 7 pm Stations of the Cross
Holy Saturday, March 30: 7 pm, the Great Easter Vigil
Easter Sunday, March 31: 8 am and 10:15 am Eucharists with celebratory music. An Easter Egg Hunt will immediately follow the 10:15 am service on the front lawn of St. John’s.
St. John’s Episcopal Church is under the spiritual direction of the Rev. Ronald Pollock, St. John’s is handicapped accessible. Ample parking is available in the church lot behind the church or on the street.

About St. John’s
At St. John’s, weekly Sunday services are conducted at 8 am and 10:15 am with music at 10:15 am. St. John’s offers Sunday School every Sunday at 10:15 am preceded by “Children’s Chapel” at 10 am in which the rector, the Rev. Ronald Pollock, offers a brief children’s message. St John’s has both an adult choir and a junior choir. Among its many programs, St. John’s hosts the SHIP's Galley Soup Kitchen three days a week and a monthly thrift shop - From The Heart - with proceeds going to non-profit agencies.
