Enjoy a Victorian Holiday, with a visit from Queen Victoria, at an Advent Party
WHERE: St. John’s Episcopal Church
WHEN: Saturday, December 8, 7 pm to 9 pm.
A holiday special event that is ideal for the entire family, the St. John’s parish hall will be transformed into a Victorian Christmas wonderland, featuring Alisa Dupuy, a local historical storyteller, as “Queen Victoria”. An extra treat will be a performance by the Franklin High School Madrigal Singers.
There will also be tree decorating, refreshments, and door prizes.
Tickets are $20 adults, $5 for high school/college students, and children are free. For tickets contact Paula at 908-526-7150.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the Hurricane Sandy Relief.
The St. John’s parish hall is handicapped accessible. Parking is available on the street or in the parking lot behind the church.

At St. John’s, weekly Sunday services are conducted at 8 am and 10:15 am with music at 10:15 am. St. John’s offers Sunday School every Sunday at 10:15 am preceded by “Children’s Chapel” at 10 am in which the rector, the Rev. Ronald Pollock, offers a brief children’s message. St John’s has both an adult choir and a junior choir. Among its many programs, St. John’s hosts the SHIP's Galley Soup Kitchen three days a week and a monthly thrift shop - From The Heart - with proceeds going to non-profit agencies.
