Gas prices fall yet again in Central Jersey

    The price of gas in Central Jersey has seen its biggest drop in eight weeks - going back to early Augsut - and is down for the 12th time in the last 13 weeks.  Here are the Central Jersey averages, followed by the AAA national average for the week ending September 26th: 

     Regular - Central Jersey: $3.04, down 7-cents; National:  $3.35, down 1-cent. 
     Mid-grade - Central Jersey:  $3.34, down 6-cents; National:  $3.54, down 2-cents. 
     Premium - Central Jersey:  $3.49, down 6-cents; National:  $3.72, down 1-cent. 

     Local averages are calculated using the prices at ten gas stations in Edison, Franklin, New Brunswick, North Brunswick and South Brunswick.  The national average is calculated by using the AAA's fuel gauge report, which can be found here.
