Cheaper crude and winter blends driving down Central Jersey gas prices

The price of gas in Central Jersey is down for the second week in a row, and 11th time in the last 12 weeks.  Here, and nationally, the AAA says that's likely to continue thanks to cheaper prices for crude oil, and the re-arrival of winter blends back at the gas pumps.  Here are the Central Jersey averages, followed by the AAA national average for the week ending September 19th:

     Regular - Central Jersey: $3.11, down 3-cents; National:  $3.38, down 6-cents.
     Mid-grade - Central Jersey:  $3.40, down 5-cents; National:  $3.56, down 6-cents.
     Premium - Central Jersey:  $3.55, down 5-cents; National:  $3.73, down 6-cents.

Local averages are calculated using the prices at ten gas stations in Edison, Franklin, New Brunswick, North Brunswick and South Brunswick.  The national average is calculated by using the AAA's fuel gauge report, which can be found here.
