Gas prices are down for the second week in a row, and by the most since mid-January.  Here are the Central Jersey averages, followed by the AAA national average for the week ending March 13th:

     Regular - Central Jersey: $2.06, down 10-cents; National:  $2.43, down 2-cents.
     Mid-grade - Central Jersey:  $2.35, down 9-cents; National:  $2.65, down 1-cent.
     Premium - Central Jersey:  $2.53, down 9-cents; National:  $2.83, down 2-cents.

Local averages are calculated using the prices at ten gas stations in Edison, Franklin, New Brunswick, North Brunswick and South Brunswick.  The national average is calculated by using the AAA's fuel gauge report, which can be found here.
