An Edison man has been convicted of fatally shooting another township man in the victim's apartment more than two years ago.  29-year-old Luis Padilla was found guilty Thursday in Middlesex County Superior Court of murder and weapons possession in the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Kevin Meisnest in November of 2010.  Padilla faces up to life in prison with no chance of parole until the completion of 84-percent of his term when sentenced on April 29th.
